Summary:


The Subject Director is a key member of the Organization's academic leadership team, responsible for overseeing curriculum development, teaching quality management, and professional development for teachers in designated subjects - this role referring to English subject. Through cross-campus collaboration and interdisciplinary integration, the Subject Director ensures that subject teaching aligns with international education standards (such as IG, A-Level, IB, DSE, etc.) and continuously enhances students' learning outcomes and innovative capabilities.
Responsibilities:
1. Curriculum Development
o Lead the planning, design, and updating of subject curricula, ensuring a balance of academic rigor, international perspective, and local relevance.
o Develop interdisciplinary projects (such as STEAM, PBL, etc.) that address educational research trends and student needs, promoting innovative teaching practices.
o Oversee curriculum implementation, regularly evaluating and refining course content, teaching resources, and assessment tools.
2. Teaching Support and Teacher Development
o Provide professional training, teaching guidance, and classroom observation feedback to subject teachers across campuses, enhancing overall teaching quality.
o Establish a community for subject teachers, organizing research activities, workshops, and resource-sharing platforms to facilitate the exchange of best practices.
o Assist in recruiting and evaluating subject teachers and participate in their professional development planning.
3. Academic Quality Management
o Develop subject teaching standards and assessment frameworks, monitoring the implementation of teaching across campuses to ensure learning objectives are met.
o Analyze student performance data and feedback, leading improvements in teaching strategies and intervention plans.
o Regularly submit subject development reports to management, including effectiveness analysis, challenges, and improvement plans.
4. Interdisciplinary and Cross-Campus Collaboration
o Collaborate with other Subject Directors to design interdisciplinary courses or projects, promoting holistic education and the development of core competencies.
o Coordinate resources across campuses to address common issues in subject teaching, ensuring curriculum consistency.
o Represent the Organization in international education forums or collaborative projects, enhancing the influence of the subject area.
Qualifications and Experience:

Educational Background and Experience:
• Master’s degree or higher, preferably in educational leadership, curriculum and instruction, or a related field.
• Over 10 years of teaching experience, with at least 3 years in roles such as subject group leader, curriculum developer, or teacher trainer.
• Familiarity with international curriculum frameworks (such as IG, A-Level, IB, DSE) and assessment standards.
Core Competencies:
• Exceptional curriculum design skills, with the ability to integrate educational technologies (such as AI and digital tools) to optimize teaching.
• Outstanding leadership and teamwork abilities, skilled in cross-cultural communication and managing diverse teams.
• Data-driven decision-making skills, capable of guiding teaching improvements through analysis of learning outcomes.
• Fluent in both Chinese and English (written and spoken), able to excel in a bilingual work environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in multinational educational institutions or multi-campus management is preferred.
• Published research in subject teaching or participation in international education projects is an advantage.
