Lumio Private School is a new not-for-profit international school located near Paphos, Cyprus. The school opened its doors in September 2024 and is operating grades 1 to 10. With a stunning 6.8-hectare site currently undergoing renovation, Lumio offers modern classrooms, well-equipped science and IT labs, dedicated spaces for arts and sports, and a variety of extracurricular activities. About the Role
  • This is an exciting full-time, on-site opportunity for an English Language and Literature teacher ready to bring innovation, empathy, and enthusiasm to every lesson. We’re looking for someone who can inspire students through engaging, meaningful learning experiences and foster a classroom environment where diversity is celebrated and every student feels seen and valued.

What You’ll Do
  • Teach MYP English Language and Literature, possibly English B in DP.
  • Deliver engaging and thought-provoking lessons that spark curiosity and develop strong language and literary skills.
  • Use a balanced mix of discussions, interactive activities, and digital tools to bring your lessons to life.
  • Foster a classroom culture built on respect, inclusivity, and cultural understanding.
  • Collaborate with a diverse team of educators to refine curriculum and share best practices.
  • Participate in professional growth opportunities such as workshops, webinars, and IB training to continuously enhance your teaching craft.
What We’re Looking For
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Education or English Language Teaching (or equivalent).
  • Experience: At least 3 years in a similar MYP/DP teaching role at an international school, or be a passionate, newly qualified teacher ready to learn and grow.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities; a strong commitment to student-centered learning and cultural awareness.
