The Role:
We are seeking a qualified and dedicated Speech Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating students with speech, language, and communication difficulties. The Speech Therapist will collaborate closely with teachers, other therapists, and families to develop and implement individualized therapy plans that support each student’s communication and learning goals.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Speech and Language Therapy or higher (Master’s degree preferred)
- Valid professional license or eligibility for registration with Dubai Health Authority (DHA)
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience working as a Speech Therapist, preferably within a school or special needs environment
- Demonstrated experience in speech and language assessment, therapy planning, and documentation
- Excellent spoken and written English (Arabic is an advantage)
- Strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with students of determination
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team (teachers, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, psychologists, and parents)
- Experience preparing detailed therapy reports, progress updates, and contributing to Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Hours Monday to Thursday 08.00 – 14.30, Friday 08.00 – 12.15
