The Role:
We are seeking a qualified and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic multidisciplinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing and supporting students with physical, sensory, and developmental challenges to enhance their independence, functional skills, and participation in daily school activities. The Occupational Therapist will collaborate closely with teachers, other therapists, and families to develop and implement individualized therapy programs tailored to each student’s unique needs.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy or higher (Master’s degree preferred)
- Valid professional license or eligibility for registration with the Dubai Health Authority (DHA)
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience as an Occupational Therapist, preferably within a school or special needs environment
- Demonstrated experience in assessment, sensory integration, fine/gross motor skills, and activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Strong understanding of developmental milestones and assistive strategies for children and young adults with disabilities
- Excellent spoken and written English (Arabic is an advantage)
- Compassionate, patient, and motivated professional with a collaborative mindset
- Proven ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team (teachers, speech therapists, physiotherapists, psychologists, and parents)
- Experience preparing detailed therapy reports, progress documentation, and contributing to Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Working hours: Monday to Thursday 08:00 – 14:30, Friday 08:00 – 12:15
