210 days (190-200 student contact days, as per Taiwan Ministry of Education calendar, plus an additional 10 days for orientation and professional development)

18%, non-resident rate for first 6 months; 5-7% thereafter, dependent upon number of dependents and eligible deductions

Accommodation
Monthly housing allowance provided (TWD 9,000 for single teachers; TWD 15,000 for those with accompanying dependent(s). Monthly utilities subsidy provided (TWD 2,000 for single teachers and couples). Housing and utilities allowance amounts are after tax and generally cover 70-100% of monthly rent.
Flights/Transport
Flight reimbursement provided for employee, spouse and one child at beginning and end of initial, 2-year contract. For subsequent contracts, a flight allowance is provided annually.
Moving Allowance
Relocation allowance is paid at the start and end of employment. TWD 25,000 for single teachers; TWD 35,000 for teachers with accompanying spouse; TWD 45,000 for teachers with accompanying spouse and child dependent(s)
Dependent Opportunities
Full tuition is provided for all dependent children in grades K-12. Children may enter our kindergarten as early as 2 years of age.
Medical
Taiwan boasts one of the world's best, universal healthcare systems. All employees and dependents are enrolled in Taiwan National Health Insurance, upon issue of a resident card. Supplemental group insurance is available through the school for a nominal fee.
Disability
All employees are required by law to be enrolled in Taiwan labor insurance, which includes life and disability coverage during the period of employment.
Bonus
Annual bonus equivalent to one-month's base salary; Contract renewal bonus for those with 3 or more years of employment, equivalent to 0.5-1.4 month's base salary (dependent upon length of renewed contract)
