UWC Dilijan – one of the 17 United World Colleges – is a uniquely diverse international boarding school set in the scenic town of Dilijan, Armenia. Since opening its doors in August 2014, the school has grown into a thriving community of more than 220 students aged 16–18, representing 70 different countries, all pursuing the rigorous International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme.
Guided by the UWC Mission – “to unite people, nations and cultures for peace and a sustainable future” – we are more than a school; we are a caring and dynamic learning community. Our aim is to nurture the intellectual, moral, emotional, social, spiritual, and physical growth of every member, staying true to the UWC educational principles, model and values.
Life as an educator at UWC Dilijan is rich and varied. Beyond the classroom, our teachers contribute to outdoor education, the CAS (Creativity, Activity, Service) programme, mentoring, and residential life.
