As an EYFS Teacher, you will play a crucial role in shaping the early educational experiences of our students, aged 4 to 5 years old. Your responsibilities will include planning and delivering engaging, play-based learning experiences that support the early development of language, literacy, numeracy, and social skills. You will create a nurturing and stimulating environment that encourages curiosity, independence, and positive relationships among children. Working closely with colleagues, you will contribute to a caring and inclusive classroom atmosphere that promotes the holistic development of each child. In addition, you will observe and record children’s progress, maintain learning journals, communicate effectively with parents, and actively support school events and activities. Responsibilities
An EYFS teacher delivers play-based, play-led, according to the Early Years Foundation Stage framework, fostering child development.
Have strong pedagogical skills.
Design and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles.
Ability to manage resources, prioritise tasks, and manage time effectively.
Foster a caring and inclusive classroom environment that promotes social and emotional development.
Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support as needed.
Collaborate with other educators to create a cohesive curriculum that meets the needs of all students.
Communicate regularly with parents about student progress and classroom activities.
Manage behaviour effectively and support children in developing essential social and emotional skills in line with the school's positive behaviour policy.
Participate in school activities and events to strengthen community relationships.
Maintain a safe and organised classroom that supports learning and exploration.
Ensure the health, safety, and welfare of children at all times, adhering to all school and statutory policies.
Holding oneself to high professional standards and actively participating in professional learning.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
Valid teaching certification or license recognised in Malaysia or internationally.
Proven experience working with young children in an educational setting.
Strong understanding of child development principles and early childhood education practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both with children and adults.
Fluent in English (spoken and written).
Ability to create a stimulating and nurturing learning environment.
Flexibility and adaptability in teaching methods to address the needs of diverse learners.
