Take an active role as a Personal Tutor to a group of tutees within a school Grade;
Participate fully in the life of the school, including actively supporting cocurricular activities (Enrichment), duties such as supervision, evening prep, guided reading and Boarding House life;
Engage in positive behaviour management to ensure a caring and respectful environment;
Requirements of the role:
Native English speaker
Holder of bachelor’s degree in primary education or a relevant subject with an additional teaching qualification.
Possession of relevant education certifications or teaching qualifications such as PGCE (Postgraduate Certificate in Education) and QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) certificates.
Minimum 3 years of full-time teaching experience in a school setting, preferably with experience or training in IB
Have passion for teaching students
Demonstrate rigorous approach in teaching different year levels
Excellent communication and organising skills
Good interpersonal skills with demonstrated commitment to teamwork
Previous experience in subject leadership is beneficial, and looked at advantageously.
Cross-cultural teaching experience and adaptability to establish positive relationships with students and parents from diverse cultural backgrounds, fostering cultural exchange and understanding.
