1-Assist with implementing the student support program.
2-Collaborate with colleagues to develop intervention and prevention strategies for students and develop individualized learning plans to facilitate achievement.
3-Conduct individual and small group learning interventions, within/ and or outside the classroom.
4-Conduct family interventions, conflict mediation, grief, and anger management support.
5-Provide families with information related to the needs of their child and act as a resource to parents by providing family support activities.
6-Assess and monitor student progress and provide referral and resources for students.
7-Answer the social emotional concerns affecting a student’s progress in the school environment.
8-Maintain necessary records and reports ensuring confidentiality of students and their families.
9-Assist in developing and implementing crisis intervention, trauma informed care, student and family support interventions, problem solving/decision making, grief and anger management.
10-Support students with academic, social and behavioral needs.
11-Work closely with all needed stakeholders to create, implement, and follow through with supports of identified students.
12-Communicate with parents of identified students on a regular basis.
13-Support school-wide implementation of the wellbeing policy.
14-Maintain documentation and respect individual privacy.
15-Actively engage in professional inquiry (PLC, action research, workshops, study groups, critical friends, data teams…) with the aim of continually reflecting upon practices and improving learning for all students.
16-Reflect by examining beliefs about professional duties in order to conduct self with integrity and transparency, connect and build learning communities, and respect and promote organizational, local, and global cultures.
