Benefits: Verita International School
Number of Contract Days: 190 maximum (180 teaching plus 10 days training).
Starting Salary Range: 28000 euros (net) per year starting.
Taxes: Paid by the school.
Savings Potential: Up to 5000 Euros per year dependent on personal spending habits!
Accommodation: Fully furnished 1 bedroom apartment for singles, 2 bedrooms for couples. Near the school, or based on preference.
Flights/Transport: Yearly round trip flights to your stated home place for each two year package.
Utilities: These are not paid for by the school. You are responsible for your utility bills these are approximately 120-150 Euros per month.
Moving Allowance: Up to 1000 Euro per person with invoices.
Dependent Opportunities: Up to 2 children can receive schooling. You are however responsible for food and after school club costs.
Medical: Private medical insurance within Romania.
Other: 3 days additional leave is possible in the year for a variety of reasons to support staff well-being (except for the summer vacation).
When we had a teacher decide to take another job in mid-July, we were left with few options. Historically, it was a tough position to fill. Within 24 hours of posting the position on Schrole, we were able to offer a contract to a more-qualified educator.
