Facilities: Metropolitan School Frankfurt

MSF’s campus offers over 8,000 m² of purpose-built teaching and learning space – more per student than any other school in the region. Bright, spacious classrooms are complemented by two libraries, science labs, music rooms, visual arts studios, a food technology suite, and the largest sports hall in Frankfurt. Outdoor areas include a football pitch, rooftop sports field, quiet zones, and dedicated Early Years spaces, all designed to support both academic and extracurricular excellence.

The school’s 2024/25 expansion adds 3,300 m² of new learning space, including 12 classrooms, 9 breakout rooms, a new Primary/Early Years library, and expansive arts and music facilities. A striking architectural design by Raumwerk Architekten will elevate the campus with elevated structures that preserve outdoor space while enhancing functionality. MSF’s new 700-seat theatre will be among the largest in the region, and the campus will meet top environmental standards with green façades, solar panels, rainwater harvesting, and energy-efficient systems, underscoring the school’s commitment to sustainability and innovation.
