The American International School – Riyadh (AIS-R) is a leading non-profit, American-curriculum institution serving preschool through high school students in Saudi Arabia’s capital city. Home to over 1,500 students representing nearly 60 nationalities, AIS-R offers a uniquely diverse and inclusive learning environment where students grow into confident, global citizens. Benefits: The American International School – Riyadh

Number of Contract Days: 190 Contract Days.

Starting Salary Range: $42,500 – 57,500 USD per employee. (Dependent on credentials and experience).

Taxes: No income tax in Saudi Arabia.

Savings Potential: 50 % of single teacher salary. Potential savings of one salary for a teaching couple.

Accommodation: Furnished housing on very well resourced compound.

Flights/Transport: Initial flight to Kingdom + $2500 USD in year one per employee. $5000 USD per employee for subsequent contract years. $2500 USD per employee on final departure on completion of contract.

Utilities: Stipend provided to offset utilities cost. Reasonable use is offset at approximately 100%.

Furniture: Compound provided furniture in all villas.

Moving Allowance: $1250 USD per employee on arrival.

Dependent Opportunities: Tuition covered for 1 dependent per contracted employee.

Medical: International coverage including medical, dental, optical, etc.

Retirement: 5% retirement matching by AIS-R.
