Swiss International School in Qatar (SISQ) opened its doors in 2017 with an initial cohort of just 300 students from Pre-Kindergarten to Grade 8. In just a few short years, the school has experienced exceptional growth, now welcoming over 800 students from 64 different nationalities and offering the full International Baccalaureate (IB) continuum. With ambitious plans to reach an enrollment of 1,400 in the coming years, SISQ is one of the fastest-growing schools in Qatar.
An IB World School, SISQ delivers the Primary Years Programme (PYP), Middle Years Programme (MYP), and Diploma Programme (DP) with an emphasis on academic excellence, intercultural understanding, and the development of lifelong learners. English serves as the primary language of instruction, with a strong focus on French as part of its Swiss heritage, and additional offerings in Arabic and German to encourage multilingualism.
Since its establishment, SISQ has built a reputation as a vibrant and forward-thinking school that blends the best of Swiss educational values, rigour, innovation, and a culture of care, with the global vision of the IB. This combination provides students with a world-class education that prepares them to thrive in an interconnected world.

Teachers are viewed as partners in shaping the educational journey, with significant input into curriculum design and professional development, ensuring that innovation and collaboration are at the heart of teaching practice.
In line with its vision, SISQ is committed to creating learners who are fulfilled, inspired, and prepared. Students are encouraged to embrace change, think creatively, and act with integrity. Character development and social responsibility are embedded into daily school life, ensuring graduates leave as principled, confident, and compassionate global citizens.
