BASIS International & Bilingual Schools Wuhan opened in 2023 and brings our innovative curriculum to the very heart of China in Hubei province. In a BASIS International Kindergarten teaching position, you will create a learning environment where learning is a joyful and rewarding experience, and children learn to become enthusiastic, life-long learners. The thematic, hands-on, and content rich curriculum creates a foundation for children to build upon in the elementary grades. Our early education teachers are guided by the belief that any child can excel with the right support.
The early childhood classroom is carefully designed to encourage a child's natural curiosity to create, discover, and ask questions. Our Early Childhood teachers adopt a collaborative, co-teaching approach to enhance student engagement and learning opportunities. The Subject Expert Teacher (SET) and Learning Enhancement Teacher (LET) partner to introduce ideas and ensure every student receives deep subject knowledge, personalized support, and appropriate engagement.
As an Early Childhood Subject Expert Teacher, you help cultivate a joyful, rigorous learning environment rich in child-initiated play that inspires students to become enthusiastic, life-long learners. You implement a theme-based, hands-on curriculum that lays a strong foundation for children to build upon throughout their elementary years.

Work Experience
Who We’re Looking For
Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in your subject area (Elementary and Early Education degrees are also highly valued for Pre-K through Grade 5).
Experience: At least two years as the lead teacher in a classroom, a requirement for obtaining a working visa.

Accommodation
Furnished housing is provided by the school. A housing allowance in lieu of provided housing is also available as an alternate option.
Moving Allowance
Allowance for moving expenses related to relocation to the employee’s BASIS International School city and back to the employee’s home country at the end of employment in China.
Flights/Transport
Economy-class airfare for the employee and accompanying, immediate family to relocate to China at the beginning of employment, and back to the employee’s home country upon successful completion of final employment term in China. Annual allowance for employee expenses for home return trip or vacation travel during school breaks.
