High Tech Academy is seeking inspiring Primary teachers. Candidates should be inspirational, motivational and engaging Primary teachers with experience of teaching EAL students. The school is seeking teachers who are passionate about teaching students, open-minded, creative and enjoy collaboration with their colleagues. Teachers who have self-awareness, integrity, and a strong work ethic and good subject knowledge and are open to innovation and trying new things.
We are particularly interested in hearing from candidates that:
- Employ modern teaching techniques and have the ability to lead on projects and work collaboratively
- Take responsibility for a primary class, supporting, nurturing and taking a genuine interest in the holistic development of all children in that class
- Have experience of teaching EAL students - English, Maths and Science
- Contribute to project based learning, a teaching method in which students learn by actively engaging in meaningful projects
- Create inquiry-based classrooms that develop critical thinking skills, knowledge and a range of skills within an environment based on trust and respect
- Select relevant resources and digital tools to support and enhance learning, and promote responsible use of technology
Requirements:
- An appropriate bachelor’s degree
- A recognized teaching certification / qualification
- A minimum of 3 years' teaching experience
- Good knowledge of primary curriculum and experience of inquiry based teaching
- Experience in teaching learners with English as a second language
- Dedication to the ongoing development and excellence of High Tech Academy, and a commitment to the school's values and ethos
